2. Seriously consider self employment including subcontracting, consultancy work or setting up a small business.

3. Be confident in your own abilities. The knowledge and experience you have is a great selling point to employers. Make the most of your networks especially previous work associates as well as people you know through clubs and groups, everything from the golf club to Lions or Rotary.
